Many thanks to all the Comedians, whose help, talent, tenacity and faith kept Comedy SlamFest alive and succesful throughout the last four seasons! We love them all and we want to say MANY THANKS!! for you, the audience, who came to see the comedians perform their best, their worst, their mediocre, through the laughter and the tears. We support local comedy. We helped put the Phoenix Comedy Scene on the map, let's keep it there!! Life is fun and we're gonna continue making it that. Here at Comedy SlamFest, we are committed to providing a fun and healthy Comedy Community.
Special Announcement We're done!
When we started Comedy Slamfest, our initial intention was to give our son, ROBERT FATA, and all of his comedy student friends, a place to practice their craft. It grew and grew for four seasons and there have been over 200 comedians walk through our door to play, network with other comedians, start shows of their own and go on their comedy journey, whereever it takes them. We enjoyed hosting the event and especially enjoyed the sense of community the show gave to us and everyone attached to it. We've made many good friends here. We feel that with all the comedy contests, shows and showcases now available in the Valley, that our goal was reached. So to that, we're happy, we're proud and we're going to step back a little to watch what happens now. We expect that Phoenix and the surrounding towns will snowball this little comedy lark and comedians who need the stage time will find it almost every night of the week. This will enable them to practice hard, create their gimmick, find that elusive spark that makes them funny and someday be good enough and able to perform at a professional Comedy Club.
We're not gone forever, we'll still be monitoring comedy around the Valley as we watch our son's career path move forward. And we will help wherever we can and to whomever asks us. It's what we do. We wish all the comedians and comedy clubs good fortune and ask that everyone remember to keep the Comedy Community alive and kicking. Support each other and you will all be stars!!
